Amazing little grocery store with Indian food to go as well. There's a small parking lot out front.

For the South Asian grocer, this place keeps the basics including tea and tea biscuits, spices, dosa/idli batters, roti, frozen items and more. I saw the other reviews about concerns with fresh vegetables or items that may have been sitting around for a while as well as less fresh atta; can't speak to that yet. It is one of the few accessible for students and as a result can count on regular business. I would come here for spices, tea etc. but would shop elsewhere for fresh goods or items whose taste depends strongly on freshness.

We were shopping this weekend and we're told about this little store that's known for its selection of ethnic groceries. We picked up some frozen roti of some kind, but also grabbed some of this little ice cream they have in individual portions. We tried both the mango and falooda ice cream. And the winner was falooda, all 6 of us loved it! It was filled with nuts and candied fruit with some chia seeds, and the authentic taste of a falooda you would get in india. Definitely a must try!

Fantastic selection of spices and many other things. Big jars of garlic paste and ginger paste are great for cooking. Jars of many different kinds of chutney, and my favorite Indian Sauces. Delicious pita bread for half the price of the supermarket. It's a great place to buy rice, couscous, and other grains. And regular spices like chili, paprika, Curry, and many things that I don't recognize, that are a fraction of what they cost in the supermarket. I always end my visit here with a hot Samosa from the takeout counter to take away with me.

No, I am not Indian so keep that in consideration. I love this little store- they have all the frozen Indian food that I could ever want, as I have no idea how to make Indian cuisine. Now I can microwave a curry or some naan or bake some frozen samosas and take care of my cravings easily. They also sell fresh samosas for 90 cents which are so good- I highly recommend getting one or three. Cash only for orders under 10 dollars.

This place rocks. I come here for the hard-to-find spices and other ingredients in Ethiopian or Indian recipes. Walking in here takes me back to a time when I was living in India for a few months, and I've seen products I thought I'd be unlikely to run into again. Plus, a lot of the things here are cheap! Including the hot bar food and samosas. They sell fresh injera as well, if that's something you're dreading making on your own. The place is small, and the produce will be a little more expensive than shopping at Supremo or Fresh Grocer nearby. But for the unique selection of ingredients and food products, or just pure exploration, I highly recommend.
